Something about Morocco has always appealed to me. The breezy Bedouin style, the sunshine streaming through gauzy curtains, the juxtaposition of palm trees and geometric designs...I want to go to there.
Ever since I saw the movie Casablanca in high school, I knew I had to make a pilgrimage to that desert paradise. Ingrid Bergman and Humphrey Bogart made it look so glamorous! I'll land in Spain, work my way down from Madrid to the Straight of Gibraltar, and take a ferry from Tarifa to Tangier, where I'll wander my way down to Casablanca.
